How to assemble SIXTOL SORT EASY bags and what they are intended for

The SORT EASY program is a modular bag system for sorting waste. The bags are simply connected to each other with hook-and-loop fasteners – you can place them side by side and arrange them in any order according to what you sort most at home (or at work).

How SORT EASY works

Each SORT EASY bag is an independent "module." Modules connect via hook-and-loop strips on the sides, allowing you to attach one bag to another and expand the setup at any time.

The bags are made of non-woven fabric (polypropylene), are washable and have sturdy handles – when full you can easily carry them to the container. For storage they fold flat, so they take up minimal space.

Step 1: Choose the right size – BASIC or SLIM

First decide where you want to put the setup. SORT EASY comes in two size versions:

VersionDimensions / capacityTypical use
BASIC30 × 30 × 40 cm / 36 l (1 bag)Universal use in apartments, houses, cottages, garages
SLIM18 × 30 × 40 cm / 22 l (1 bag)Narrow spaces – e.g. kitchen cabinet; a set of 3 SLIM has a total width of 54 cm

Step 2: Choose a starter set (full set) or buy individual modules

You can start with a ready-made set (full set), or buy empty "modules" individually and gradually add to the setup. All variants can be connected to each other.

Starter sets – order codes

  • SX4201 – SORT EASY 3 BASIC (plastic + glass + paper), 3 × 36 l
  • SX4202 – SORT EASY 4 CARTON (plastic + glass + paper + beverage cartons), 4 × 36 l
  • SX4203 – SORT EASY 4 METAL (plastic + glass + paper + metal), 4 × 36 l
  • SX4211 – SORT EASY 3 SLIM (plastic + glass + paper), 3 × 22 l

Individual modules (bags) – order codes

Individual bags are named by the waste type (PLASTIC, GLASS, PAPER, CARTON, METAL, MIXED). This makes selection simple – choose the waste type and add the module to your setup.

Module / wasteColor (approx.)Dimensions / capacityOrder code
PLASTIC (plastics)yellow30 × 30 × 40 cm / 36 lSX4206
GLASS (glass)green30 × 30 × 40 cm / 36 lSX4205
PAPER (paper)blue30 × 30 × 40 cm / 36 lSX4204
CARTON (beverage cartons)red30 × 30 × 40 cm / 36 lSX4207
METAL (metal)gray30 × 30 × 40 cm / 36 lSX4208
MIXED (mixed waste)black30 × 30 × 40 cm / 36 lSX4209
PAPIER (paper – labeling variant)blue30 × 30 × 40 cm / 36 lSX4210

Note: Bags can be connected with hook-and-loop fasteners in any order, so mixing BASIC and SLIM versions in one setup is not a problem.

How to assemble the setup in practice (quick guide)

  • Measure the space where you want to place SORT EASY (cabinet, pantry, hallway, garage).
  • Decide on the size: BASIC for universal use, SLIM for narrow spots.
  • Start with a set (e.g. SX4201 or SX4211), or buy the needed modules right away according to waste types.
  • Arrange the bags according to how often you use them (most used closest) and connect them with the hook-and-loop fastener.
  • You can expand the setup anytime – just buy another module and attach it to the others.

Where SORT EASY makes the most sense

Kitchen / pantry
BASIC or SLIM. SLIM is ideal for a cabinet, BASIC fits in a pantry or next to the countertop.

Apartment hallways and utility rooms
You can place the setup against a wall and gradually add modules as needed.

Balcony / terrace
A good option if you don't want sorting directly in the kitchen (bags are compact and washable).

Garage and workshop
Practical for cardboard from materials, plastics, metal and mixed waste.

Cottage / weekend house
You can fold the setup flat after the season and store it away.

Office / small business
Simple sorting for paper, plastic and mixed waste.

Recommendations for most common setups

  • Basic household set: SX4201 (3 BASIC) + optionally add CARTON (SX4207) or MIXED (SX4209).
  • More complete sorting: SX4202 (4 CARTON) and later add METAL (SX4208) or MIXED (SX4209).
  • For a narrow kitchen cabinet: SX4211 (3 SLIM) and add more modules as needed.
