Freewheel hub AVM 426 - Jeep
A set of 2 manual freewheel hubs AVM 426 serves as detachable freewheeling hubs for the front wheels on selected 4x4 and off-road vehicles. When manually engaged, the hub connects the wheel hub to the front axle shaft so that with all-wheel drive engaged, drive torque can also be transmitted to the front wheels. When disengaged, the front wheels rotate freely during 4x2 driving without unnecessary spinning of front drivetrain components, which helps reduce mechanical resistance and wear. The freewheels complement the 4x4 drive control and do not replace its engagement in the vehicle. The robust steel construction protected by epoxy paint increases resistance to external influences, and precisely manufactured internal components support reliable operation in everyday use as well as in more demanding off-road conditions.
