AVM 465HP Freewheel Hub - Ford (including kit)
A set of 2 manual AVM 465HP freewheel hubs serves as detachable freewheeling front wheel hubs for selected 4x4 and off-road vehicles. When manually engaged, they connect the wheel hub to the front axle halfshaft, so when four-wheel drive is engaged the driving force can also be transmitted to the front wheels. When disengaged, the front wheels rotate freely during 4x2 driving without unnecessarily spinning parts of the front drive, which helps reduce mechanical resistance and wear. The freewheels complement the 4x4 drive control and do not replace engaging the drive in the vehicle. The HP (High Performance) range is designed for high load and demanding off-road use; the heavy-duty steel construction with epoxy coating is built for extreme outdoor conditions, the precisely manufactured internal components emphasize the durable design, and the set can also be used with wheels larger than 33 inches. The set also includes a kit for mounting the freewheels on vehicles with permanent 4x4 drive on the front axle.
