A workshop trolley speeds up work, keeps things organized and protects tools. At SIXTOL you can choose between an empty trolley (without tools) and a full trolley (trolley + tool set in EVA foam modules). This article will help you choose the right construction and understand how the module labeling works so you can buy modules progressively.
At SIXTOL workshop trolleys typically differ by number of drawers/shelves and intended use. In practice you most often choose between these platforms:
| Platform | Storage | When it suits | Order code |
|---|---|---|---|
| MECHANIC TROLLEY ROGER | 3 shelves | Quick service trolley for moving tools and material around the workshop. | SX8003 |
| MECHANIC TROLLEY JASON | 3 drawers + 1 shelf | More compact trolley - ideal for a smaller workshop/garage. | SX8002 |
| MECHANIC TROLLEY KEVIN | 7 drawers | The most universal base - lots of drawers for modules and small parts. | SX8001 |
| MECHANIC TROLLEY TITAN 1559 | 13 drawers | Professional solution with high capacity and complete equipment. | SX8004 |
Empty trolleys (without tools)
Choose an empty trolley if you already have tools or want to build the set exactly according to your work. You then buy individual modules (EVA inserts) as needed.
Full trolleys (trolley + tools in EVA modules)
Choose a full trolley if you want to start working immediately. The model name usually contains a number that indicates the number of tool pieces (e.g. 195 = 195 pcs of tools).
Individual tool sets for drawers are sold as MECHANIC TOOL TRAY modules. Each module has its own sequence number (1-11) and, importantly, an order code. Thanks to this you can buy an empty trolley and gradually purchase exactly the modules you need.
Overview of modules and their order codes:
| Module | Order code | Number of pcs | What it typically contains |
|---|---|---|---|
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 1 | SX8101 | 80 | Sockets, ratchets and accessories |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 2 | SX8102 | 102 | Extended set for repairs and maintenance |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 3 | SX8103 | 13 | Ratcheting combination wrenches |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 4 | SX8104 | 15 | Selection of hand tools for common tasks |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 5 | SX8105 | 18 | T-handle wrenches |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 6 | SX8106 | 80 | Combination of ratchets, sockets and adapters |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 7 | SX8107 | 14 | Wrenches + torque wrench (work requiring torque tightening) |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 8 | SX8108 | 21 | Screwdrivers |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 9 | SX8109 | 9 | T-handle ratchet socket wrenches |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 10 | SX8110 | 52 | Specialized service tools (brakes/filters/fuel) |
| MECHANIC TOOL TRAY 11 | SX8111 | 39 | Set of wrenches (wide range of sizes) |
Tip: If you will outfit the trolley gradually, start with modules containing basic sockets/ratchets and screwdrivers and only then add specialized sets according to the work you do.
Summary: First choose the right platform (ROGER/JASON/KEVIN/TITAN), then decide empty vs. full trolley and finally plan modules according to the work – always by order codes.
